Appellation Lodi - Wine & Roses Resort and Spa

Attended a multi-day business offsite, off-season. This place punches above its with for a 3-star hotel. Well designed, executed with quality materials, zero evidence of deferred maintenance. Staff was stellar and accommodating. On-site gym well equipped, Americana House bar served great drinks and the breakfast at the bakery was yummy. Try the biscuit. Only suggestion for improvement would be more table space per attendee in the meeting space. Didn’t have time to sample the spa services but heard they are good. It’s so nice, it was definitely an unexpected oasis. If you’re looking for a romantic getaway, spring for a room with a fireplace.

Fully embraced tranquility and forgot to take photos. Visited Wine and Roses for a facial treatment and had an amazing experience. Explored the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi tubs, and Tranquility room before the facial. Arrive early! We were given robes and sandals to wear around the facilities and our belongings were kept in a locker in the ladies changing room. I wore a swim suit under my robe so that I could soak in the hot tub. Refreshing hot tea and granola was also offered. The facial itself was divine. One hour of peaceful relaxation and rejuvenation. My skin was glowing and soft for several days after the treatment and I was even sent home with a small sample of serum. I will definitely be booking another appointment soon.

Felt tucked away. No issues with the room. Fitness center was in good working order. Staff were pleasant. The grounds were also very well kempt. Plenty of places to eat within a short distance if you don't choose to eat at the restaurant on the property.

Lovely place to stay. Shared a room (two bed queen) and the size exceeded my expectations - more than enough room to spread out. Slept very well on the bed. Rooms were clean and spacious and airy with a nice little balcony w/table and chairs and mini fridge and bar area. Also a desk if you need to work. Enjoyed the spacious and well lite bathroom and even enjoyed a bath. Nice boutique hotel that holds events like weddings, but our little group wasn't impacted by that. My only gripe is the gym needs a makeover, the equipment needs an overhaul/update.

Omg! Had the best time , my husband and I stay here during a weekend getaway and it was the best! Loved our room he didn’t want to leave. The front desk and housekeeping were great and so helpful. The hotel is beautiful not to mention the bakery has the best chocolate croissant!! we will for sure be back !

Can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was at Wine and Roses. The property itself is beautiful, tranquil, and romantic. On top of that they have wonderful restaurants and an excellent wine visitor center with tastings on site. Everyone who worked here we friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We especially loved our dinner at Americana restaurant and the wine social hour beforehand. We will definitely be back to stay at this wonderful resort!

We did not stay here, we attended a surprise birthday/retirement party for my comadre. Beautiful venue! Nicely decorated, very well organized with a bar, coffee and tea available, hors d'oeuvres, and a delicious meal. Also a Filipino baker provided desserts!

Wow!! I don't normally get massages but my wife does and for her birthday I decided to treat her and me to a massage. Love everything about this spa, from the moment you walk in until the moment you leave the sense of relaxation surrounds you. Although in the Tranquility room there were some chatty Kathy's speaking quite loudly but I let them as they're conversation was humors at times. Once we got called back for our massages we stepped into a private room for the two of us. We're equally graded with gratitude and respect from the masseuses. I had Claudia and the wife had Elle. Claudia was respective of what I had asked for and the level of massage I was looking for. Such a treat and I would definitely consider making a trip back.
